Meditatie helpt om de productie van stresshormonen (zoals cortisol) te verminderen en dieper te ontspannen. Studies hebben aangetoond dat regelmatige meditatie leidt tot vermindering van angst en depressie, evenals een verbeterd algeheel welzijn. Concentreer je op je ademhaling en laat je gedachten komen en gaan zonder oordeel. Het klinkt wellicht wat duf, maar zie je gedachten gewoon als de wolken die voorbij komen in de lucht.
