About our privacy policy
Fueling You cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never provide your data to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided on it by Fueling You. The effective date of these terms is 20/02/2024, and the publication of a new version renders all previous versions invalid. This privacy policy describes what data we collect about you, how we use this data, and under what conditions we may share this data with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it from misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

Data processing
Below you can read about how we process your data, where we (store) it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.
1. Store software
1.1 Woocommerce
Our web store is developed using WooCommerce software. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, and they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, WooCommerce is obligated to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, and no personal data is collected and/or stored. WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies to further improve the services.
1.2 Woocommerce hosting
Our web store is developed using WooCommerce software, and we have chosen Cloud86 for our web hosting. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Cloud86 has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, and they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Cloud86 is obligated to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent data loss.
2. Webhosting
2.1 Cloud86
We use web hosting and email services from Cloud86. Cloud86 processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This metadata does not include personal data. Cloud86 has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Cloud86 is obligated to confidentiality under the agreement.
3. Email & mailing lists
3.1.1 Klaviyo
Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles the email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via the servers of Klaviyo. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on this link, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and share information with third parties in that context.
3.1.2 SMS services
We use cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
3.2 Cloud86
We use the services of Cloud86 for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Cloud86 does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
4. Payment processors
4.1 Mollie
For handling (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, and place of residence, as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and share (anonymized) data with third parties in that context. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than permitted by the statutory terms.
5. Reviews
5.1 WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this information for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, for which we have given permission to WebwinkelKeur. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.
6. Shipping and logistics
6.1 PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary for us to share your name, address, and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL only uses this information for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL also provides your data to these parties.
7. Accounting & invoicing
7.1 E-Boekhouden.nl
For the purpose of maintaining our administration and accounting, we use the services of E-boekhouden.nl. We share your name, address, and place of residence, as well as details regarding your order. This information is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. E-boekhouden.nl is obligated to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. E-boekhouden.nl does not use your personal data for any purposes other than those described above.
8. External sales
8.1 Bol.com
We sell (a portion of) our products through the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this information to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
1. General purpose of data processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you have given us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time, other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us or by oath or legal obligation.
2. Automatically collected information
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
3. Cooperation with fiscal and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Fueling You may be obliged by law to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by the government. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist this to the extent permitted by law.
4. Retention periods
We will retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it as a request for erasure. This also means that we will not retain your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have created as a result of your assignment.
Your rights
Based on the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as the data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In order to prevent abuse, we generally only send copies and copies of your data to your already known email address. In case you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by post, for example, we will ask you to provide identification. We keep a record of completed requests, and in the case of a request for erasure, we keep anonymized data. You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
4. Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf. In all likelihood, in such a case, we will no longer be able to continue providing the service, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
5. Right to object and other rights
In certain cases you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Fueling You. If you object, we will immediately cease processing the data pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and/or copies of data that we (have) process and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. Cookies
1. Google Analytics
Through our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required, under applicable laws and regulations, to provide access to this data. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets and track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products.

Changes to privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has implications for how we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
